PURPOSE:To enable to detect the lifetime of a stator coil end conductor out of a rotary electric machine by connecting a lifetime calculating logic calculator to a strain measuring element mounted on a stator coil. CONSTITUTION:A strain measuring element 4 mounted on a stator coil 3 is replaced to an electric signal from a strain generated at the coil 3. The signal is inputted to a stator coil lifetime calculating logic calculator 5, and outputted to an indicator 6 as a stator coil lifetime consumption amount, and when the consumption amount exceeds the allowable value, an alarm is indicated on an alarm 7. Accordingly, the damage degree of the stator coil conductor can be notified during operation, and dangerous state can be notified by the alarm. |
