To summarise, the patent application is to be regarded as a device for controlling equipment functions of all types (in particular of video recorders), in which control commands are derived from the sequence of time intervals. Using the example of a video editing system, the operating principle of the time intervals and their setting is illustrated in conjunction with the sequence diagram A. An extremely simple analog circuit is sketched in plan B. In practice, however, the digital circuit with microprocessors will establish itself. From confirmation of receipt of the patent application, both types of equipment (analog and digital) will be sold on the market by the company Gigge Synchronfilm GmbH.
