The present invention relates to a protective device of a pressure reducing valve for extinguishing a fire. The protective device of a pressure reducing valve for extinguishing a fire comprises: a branching pipe branching from a primary inlet to the outside; a throttle valve formed on a discharge end of the branching pipe and arranged to face an outer surface of a valve body; a cooling jacket to accommodate an exterior of the valve body on which the primary inlet, a secondary outlet, and a diaphragm are installed to allow cooling water discharged from the throttle valve to stay; and a discharge pipe forming the secondary outlet and a flow passage in an internal space formed by the cooling jacket. An internal component of a pressure reducing valve for extinguishing a fire installed to reduce a high pressure of firefighting water to a prescribed pressure to extinguish a fire can be protected from flames and heat by the fire when the fire occurs in a power plant, a boiler, and a main facility of industrial facilities. The firefighting water used in cooling the pressure reducing valve merges in the secondary outlet to be used as firefighting water again. |
