PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient head for disc device which is easy to work by burying a head core chip in a rail of a slider larger than the head core chip and providing an observable winding window in a part of the rear edge or the front edge before providing a winding. CONSTITUTION:A head core chip 20 is buried in one rail 22 of a slider 21 for disc device. The winding window is so provided that a rear edge (reference line) 24 of the winding window can be seen before providing a winding 23 in a core window part, and the depth of a magnetic gap is measured, and the winding part can be seen from the outside to provide the winding as close as possible. Thus, the efficient head for disc device easy to work is obtained. |
