PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in reliability, by constituting a device so as to be put back in a mode switch position after selecting and turning it to either side of a face-blowoff position or a defroster blowoff position according to the mode switch position in time of making a power source in circuit. CONSTITUTION:At a time when a power source is made in a circuit but initial setting is not yet ended, a controller 16 detects the state of a mode switch 17, and in time of the switch being in a VENT or BI-LEVEL state, a pulse is made to be generated in a VENT direction and, after a motor actuator 19 is selected to VENT, the mode switch is restored to its regular position. In time of the switch 17 being in a HEAT or defrost state, a pulse 8 is once generated in a defrost direction and then the switch is restored to the regular position. After initial setting is over, the controller detects the mode switch 17, generating the pulse 18, and the actuator 19 is driven to a designated position of the mode switch 17, thus it operates as usual. With this constitution, reliability in the controller is improvable. |
