PURPOSE:To obtain optimum temperature distribution upon room cooling and heating by providing an air direction control panel at the blow-off side of the main body of an air conditioner and a duct below the same. CONSTITUTION:In the main body 2 of an air conditioner, air, sucked through a suction grille 4, is blown off by radial blow fan 7 driven by a motor after passing through a heat exchanger 5. In this case, the blow-off air is branched to a direction C, shown by the arrow sign, except the conventional direction B shown by the arrow signal by a damper 10 effecting as the air direction control panel provided at the blow-off side, in order to flow the air so as to be descended and blow-off it from the duct 3 by changing the direction of air into a direction shown by the arrow sign D. Here, wall surface temperature becomes higher by heat provided to the wall surface, therefore, the room heating effect due to the radiation from the wall surface 13 may be obtained as shown by the arrow sign E. According to this constitution, the optimum temperature distribution in the room may be obtained whenever it is under room cooling or heating. |
