<p>PURPOSE:To enable an operator to recognize the generation of a noise stroke by discriminating the noise stroke due to a light pen input on the basis of a previously fixed noise stroke condition and input state due to the light pen, and generate an alarm by discrimination. CONSTITUTION:If the light pen 1a is separated from an input device board 1 because of the hesitation of character input immediately after the operator has put the light pen 1a on the input device board 1, added data from an adder 7 does not reach a reference stroke S0 in a reference value dictionary 9 storing noise stroke condition data, so that a decision circuit 10 decides the character input as a noise stroke and outputs a decision signal and an alarm circuit 11 generates an alarm sound on the basis of the decision signal. If the operator hesitates the character input while putting the light pen 1a on the input device board 1, a distance calculation circuit 6 outputs ''0'' data continuously every prescribed period, and when the number of continuous outputs reaches the maximum reference number of times N0 in the reference value dictionary 9, the decision circuit 10 decides the character input as a noise stroke and outputs a decision signal and the alarm circuit generates an alarm sound on the basis of the decision signal.</p> |
