<p>PURPOSE:To prevent reliably generation of cracks on a weld of a cylindrical article of a reaction tower and filling tower, by a method wherein after an inner cylinder has been formed by welding unit inner cylinders made of thermoplastics from both sides, each other, a glass fiber reinforced plastic layer is laminated on the outer surface. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 1 is manufactured by performing butt welding of unit inner cylinders 1A made of thermoplastics from both sides, each other by welding rods 3A, 3B. Then roving made of glass fiber impregnated with hardening resin is wound around the outside surface of the inner cylinder 1, which is made to cure and glass fiber reinforced plastic layer 2 is formed. With this construction, tensile residual stress of a weld of a plastic cylindrical article is offset and generation of cracks on the weld can be prevented reliably.</p> |
