<p>PURPOSE:To unnecessitate the exchange of the ozone adsorbent in an adsorption and desorption column, by inserting a dehumidifying column between the oxygen source and the pressure regulator. CONSTITUTION:The ozone generator 1, the adsorption and desorption column 2 and the circulation blower 3 are arranged in the order to constitute the oxygen circulation system. The pressure of oxygen supplied from the oxygen source 4 is regulated by the pressure regulator 11 to keep the pressure in the system at a definite level. The ozonized oxygen generated by the ozone generator is introduced into the adsorption and desorption column 2, in which ozone is exclusively adsorbed to the ozone adsorbent. A dehumidifying column 12 packed with a dehumidifier such as activated alumina or molecular sieve, etc. is inserted between the oxygen source 4 and the pressure regulator 11. Even if water is present in the oxygen supplied from the oxygen source 4, it is removed by the dehumidifying column 12 to prevent the intrusion of water in the oxygen recycling system. Accordingly, the exchange of the ozone adsorbent packed in the adsorption and desorption column 2 becomes unnecessary.</p> |
