Lift augmenting device usable on a light aircraft, without actuating trailing-edge flaps, by static blowing of the wings. Under the leading edge, (front side): 66, under surface side (under the wing), a trap door 56, pulled by a cable: 70, opens along the hinge: 58, allowing passage of the air under pressure into this area of the wing. This air, flowing in the tunnel: 72, reemerges at 68, on the upper surface (top of the wing), rearwards, amplifying the natural depression in this area of wing, thus accelerating the flow of air over the upper surface, and consequently improving the lift, mainly at high flight angles of incidence. An additional traction on the cables 70, by further opening the trap door 56, drives, by means of a secondary cable fixed at 60, the lever 64, integral with a second trap door: 62, which opens into the cushion of wind, bringing about an increase in the speed of outflow in the air in the tunnel 72, and hence an increase in the depression at 68. The result is a great improvement in the lift of the wing, and thus in safety at high angles of incidence, and at low flight speeds. <IMAGE>
