PURPOSE:A cosmetic having good feeling in use, improved shelf stability free from skin irritation, containing an oil obtained from seed of Oenothera tetrapera Cav. and at least one extract prepared from seed of Helianthus annuus L., root of Bupleurum falcatum L., and rhizome of Sanguisorba officinalis L. CONSTITUTION:(A) An oil obtained from seed of Oenothera tetraptera Cav. is blended with (B) at least one extract obtained from seed of Helianthus annuus L., Bupleurum falcatum L., and rhizome of Sanguisorba officinalis to give a cosmetic. A skin cosmetic containing an oil of Oenothera tetraptera Cav. has higher affinity for the skin than one containing an olive oil, almond oil, safflower oil, etc., has no greasiness on the skin, and provides a feeling of moisture. It is a vegetable oil with high unsaturation degree, so addition of the component B as a shelf stabilizer provides the cosmetic with stability for a long period. |
