In a supporting claw for loads suspended on the roadway support of the underground working by means of a cross piece, which has one or more recesses for accommodating a connection member for attaching the load and bearing surfaces for a centre section of the outer contour of a support profile, and by means of one hook-head bolt each, for the thread end of which in the cross piece in each case a recess is provided in an abutment, the hook shanks lying next to the support profile and the hook heads reaching behind the support profile, provision is made according to the invention for the hook shanks and the hook heads to consist of a bar profile in which the hook heads are bent out of the straight hook shanks at an obtuse angle, and for the cross piece to have a support on the outside next to each recess for a thread end of a hook-head bolt, against which support the hook shank above the threaded end inserted in the recess bears, the hook heads being held free of contact by the support profile in one each of two converging bores or chiselled-out portions.
