METHOD FOR PREPARING LIST OF RECORDED DATA IN FOLLOWUP WRITE TYPE OPTICAL DISK

PURPOSE:To prepare a list of pre-recorded data on a disk at high speed under a system controller by detecting the last record point to find the record start point and seeking the just preceding data area to find its data record start point. CONSTITUTION:An optical pickup 5 is moved to a last recording point of the pre-recorded data and returned to the inner periphery of the disk by a number of frames sufficient to apply the synchronization at the time of additional recording. For synchronization with the reproduction synchronizing signals from a decoder 10, synchronization permission signals are supplied from the system controller 1 to an encoder 9. The encoder output on timing signal in which the signal processing delay time is compensated in the encoder 9 is outputted and the system controller 1 starts its recording. The encoder output on signal and the record signal are outputted to start the recording on the disk 4. The record signals are outputted with a delay equal to the signal processing delay and the new recorded data are recorded just after the pre-recorded data without interruptions.
