PURPOSE:To manufacture a burner tip excellent in wear resistance and impact resistance by a method wherein low melting metal is cast in a cylindrical mold, in which a ceramic tubular body installed onto a columnar mandrel is placed, in order to integrally form a jacketing body on both the ends and the outer periphery of the ceramic tubular body. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a ceramic tubular body 2 with a fuel passage 3 having a required inner diameter and a jacketing body 6 are made into an integral body by covering both the end surfaces 4a and 4b and the outer peripheral surface 5 of the ceramic tubular body 2 with the jacketing body 6 made of low melting metal such as copper or the like. Secondly, the outer peripheral surface 7 of the resultant integral body is finished to be concentric to the ceramic tubular body 2 so as to insert said integral body or a burner tip 1 into the mounting hole 9 of a combustion device 8 and to fix the burner tip 1 with a nut 10. Due to the structure as mentioned above, the stress or impact force applied to the burner tip during its handling or mounting is damped by the jacketing body. In addition, because no wear of the inner surface of the burner tip by the friction and collision of solid bodies in sprayed solid or liquid fuel develops consequently, the burner tip stands against the long-term service.
