PURPOSE:To regulate the irregularity of torque at odd numbered and even numbered position exciting times by controlling a stepping motor by a constant current value set correspondingly at the odd numbered and even numbered position exciting times. CONSTITUTION:An exciting signal generator 1 generates an exciting signal 7 for turning ON/OFF in each phase to drive at half step. An exciting number detector 2 detects whether the signal 7 is input and the exciting number is odd or even, and generates odd/even signal 8. A constant-current drive circuit 3 sets a constant-current value correspondingly at even or odd position exciting times, and a stepping motor 4 is controlled by a constant-current through leads 9 and a common lead 10 in response to the signals 8 and 7. |
