PURPOSE:To make both magnetic disc and pad hardly receive any flaw by using a roller pad for a regulating body pressing the magnetic disc surely to abut on a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The regulating body 30 contacting the magnetic disc 1 to the magnetic head 16 consists of a couple of roller pads 30a, 30b. Since the roller pads 30a, 30b press lightly a surface position at both sides at an abutting position of the head 16 onto the magnetic disc 16, the disc 1 is allowed to contact surely with the head 16. Further, both the roller pads 30a, 30b are rotated in following to the rotation of the disc 1 and no deviation in the inner and outer circumferential velocities is caused because the roller pads 30a, 30b are formed as cones and the pads are driven substantially in line contact onto the disc 1.
