PURPOSE:To perform both side printing in a short period by print- the top and reverse surface of paper according to specific stages. CONSTITUTION:This printing method has a stage wherein the 1st paper which has the (P)th page printed on the top surface is set up, a stage wherein the 2nd paper is supplied to print the (P+2)th page on the top surface, a stage wherein the (P+1)th page is printed on the reverse surface of the 1st paper, a stage wherein the 3rd page is supplied to print the (P+4)th page on the top surface, and a stage wherein the (P+3)th page is printed on the reverse surface. Those stages are put in said order. Then, the reverse surface of the 1st paper and the top surface of the 3rd paper are printed in the processing time when, for example, the 2nd paper is turned over. Thus, the time in reverse-surface inverting operation is utilized effectively and the both side printing is performed in a short period. |
