PURPOSE:To immediately and continuously project an image drawn on a nontransmissive sheet or a book by forming an endless belt on which a transparent image forming area is formed, an image forming means, an erasing means, and a projecting means. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt-like transparent belt 4 is laid in a body A and an image forming station 1, an erasing station 3 and a projecting station 2 are also formed in the body A. The station 1 has constitution similar to that of an electrophotographic copying machine and forms the toner image of an original on the transparent belt 4 moved in the arrow 401 direction synchronously with a photosensitive drum 105. When the transparent belt 4 is stopped on a projection position in the station 2, an illuminating lamp 201 is turned on, the image formed on the belt 4 is irradiated and the expanded image is formed on a screen formed on a wall surface or the like by a projecting optical system consisting of a projection lens 205 and a reflecting mirror 206 through a transparent glass window 204.
