PURPOSE:To rapidly detect a minute leak of a sealed part with good accuracy by applying pre-load higher than the measuring pressure and lowering it to the measuring pressure and performing measurement. CONSTITUTION:A bagging package body 11 in which contents 10 are put and whose four sides are heat-sealed is placed on a detecting stand 13 of a detector 12 and a pressurizing body 14 installed in opposition to the detecting stand 13 is moved up and down. The pressurizing body 14 is provided with an electric load sensor 15 such as a strain gage and pressurizes the bagging package body 11 placed on the detecting stand 13 by a linear driver 16 such as a servomotor. This linear driver 16 is controlled by a load control circuit 17. Then, first, the pressurizing body 14 is depressed and the bagging package body 11 is pressurized by the pressurizing force higher than the set measuring pressure and next, the pressurizing force of the pressurizing body 14 is decompressed till the measuring pressure and the load at the time of decompressing is detected by the load sensor 15. This detected signal is sent to a load fall decision circuit 21 and compared with a standard set value and operated, by which the seal leak is detected.
