<p>Collector reagent composition, which includes two collector reagents that can be used to recover metal containing sulfide minerals, sulfidized metal-containing oxide minerals, metal-containing oxide minerals and metals that occur in the metallic state, from ores in a froth flotation process. The one collector reagent is an organic compound that contains at least four carbon atoms and one or more monosulfide units, in which the carbon atoms, to which sulfur atoms are bonded, are aliphatic or cycloaliphatic carbon atoms. The other collector reagent is preferably omega-(hydroxycarbylthio)alkylamine, S- (omega-aminoalkyl)hydrocarbylthioate, N-(hydrocarbyl) alpha,omega-alkanediamine, (omega-aminoalkyl)hydrocarbon amide, omega-(hydrocarbyloxy)alkylamine, omega- aminoalkylhydrocarboxylate, omega-(hydrocarbylthio) alkylamide or a mixture of these.</p> |
