The subject of the present invention is a device for securing preferably large threads against turning, in particular in the case of turnbuckles and similar length-adjusting devices based on a screwing action, by means of securing elements which act radially on the threaded bolts and comprise clips (9) which are pressed onto the threaded bolt (3) by means of bracing elements, preferably screws (12), and are supported on a collar (6) of the bracing sleeve (1).
