In a device for applying heat-curable transfer images by spreading on flat ceramic dishes 15, a trolley 9 slides horizontally on a parallel slide track 2 by means of a motor 1. This trolley 9 carries a pivoting jack 3 and a supporting shoe 13 which receives a spreader plate 12. A star-shaped rotary spreader wheel 5 has profiled beaters 16 made of rubber, pivoting and radially adjustable. An adjustable lifting cam 7 corresponding to the profile of the dish 15 interacts with a guiding roller 8 situated forward of the parallel slide track 2. <IMAGE>
