PURPOSE:To easily realize stereopsia at low cost without providing a special optical system, or filter spectacles for the stereopsia, by coupling each one side of plate-shaped right eye image display body and left eye image display body in such a way that they can turn freely. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped left eye image display body 1 and right eye image display body 2 are constituted of liquid crystal televisions 5 and 6, and protecting cases 3 and 4 to support them. Those both display bodies 1 and 2 are coupled in such a way that they can turn freely, through a hinge 7 that is a coupling member. A visual angle setting unit 11 is adjusted so as to obtain the optimum value of the lateral measure of an image at the time of recognizing the display bodies 1 and 2. A binocular video signal sending unit 12 sends out a video signal corresponding to each eye having parallax, and it is switched at every signal of each eye at a binocular video signal switcher 13, and is supplied to a binocular video distortion generator 14. The binocular distortion generator 14 distorts the video signal corresponding to a visual angle set at the setting unit 11, then outputs it to liquid crystal televisions 3 and 4. |
