PURPOSE:To reduce a rising time to be generated by sort start as small as possible by automatically correcting the increment of the rising time in accordance with the voltage of a power supply connected to a load. CONSTITUTION:When a flag LO2 sent from a main control unit 100 is '1', i.e. a continuous copy mode, and the copy process is a 2nd sheet or after, the subtracted value DIFF of a phase angle timer at the time of soft start is set up differently at the time of a 1st copy in an one-copy mode and a continuous copy mode and at the time of 2nd copy and after in the continuous copy mode. Namely, the control duty of a fixing heater is fixed on 100% or 0% at the time of turning on an exposure lamp and the subtracted value DIFF is corrected to a phase angle timer at the time of soft start in accordance with the ON/OFF state of the fixing heater. Consequently, the time required for the soft start processing can be suppressed at its minimum and useless time can be removed. |
