The present invention relates to a device for feeding out material from a low-pressure pocket 16 using a projection device 6 which travels to and fro. The present invention solves the problems which arise with the prior art in connection with the fetching motion of a projection device. The one of these problems is that the material column, in the case of certain fine-grained materials, is sucked into the low-pressure pocket 16, whereupon the material column will follow the projection device forward and back without any material leaving the low-pressure pocket 16. The other problem is that a minor quantity of material will always be transported by the projection device in the wrong direction, that is to say into the projection device housing. If this material is not regularly removed, it will provoke an operating stoppage. The present invention solves these problems by a discharge sleeve coupling in its front, upper part having been provided with a hinged, flexibly rigid return lock 4 and by a projection device housing having been provided with a chute 9, down which the material transported in the "wrong" direction has been fed, and with a spring- loaded cover plate 10, which covers the chute over the whole of its open surface in connection with the opening of dampers 13, the material which has been fed down the chute 9 being transported pneumatically back to the low- pressure pocket 16. <IMAGE> |
