The invention relates to a continuously adjustable visor device for crash helmets, which is suitable, in particular, for the attachment of visor panels in multi-layer construction. In the interests of simple and inexpensive construction and simple exchangeability of the visor panel (2), it is proposed according to the invention to fit the visor panel (2) on a hub-like extension (9) inside a holding piece (5), a friction ring (8) being mounted between the visor panel and the holding piece and, if appropriate, an intermediate disc (7) being mounted on the side facing the helmet shell.
