PURPOSE:To prevent jamming of a recording sheet for thermal printer, by containing one or a plurality of specific compounds in a thermal layer containing a colorless or faint color dye precursor material and a compound which reacts with the dye precursor material to exhibit color on a supporting material or in a thermal layer containing a diazo compound and a component which reacts with the diazo compound to exhibit color. CONSTITUTION:In supporting material and a thermal layer being provided thereon, main component of the thermal layer, i.e. a colorless or faint color dye precursor material, includes triaryl methane compound, diphenyl math methane compound, xanthin compound, thiazine compound, spiropyrene compound, diazo compound, etc. One or more than one kind of said compounds are employed. A compound shown by formula I or II is employed in 0.0001-0.5g per 1m<2> of supporting material in the thermal layer composed of said compounds. |
