PURPOSE:To form a sharp image at a high speed, by a method wherein one or plural third electrodes in contain with a film in a slidable manner are arranged along the leading end part of the first electrode and a colored medium is melted and fluidized by the Joule heat generated between both electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A multi-stylus 4 is formed so as to have a structure having the needle electrode 4a in contact with a conductive film 1 in a slidable manner and a plurality of plate-shaped auxiliary electrodes 4b arranged in the vicinity of the side part thereof along the leading end part thereof and similarly contacted with the film 1 in a slidable manner. Immediately before or simultaneously with the selective attraction and adhesion of a heat-meltable colored medium layer 2 and a recording member 3, the medium layer 2 is melted and fluidized by the Joule heat generated between both electrodes 4a, 4b. Therefore, when the conductive film 1 and the recording member 3 are inserted between the multi-stylus 4 and an opposed electrode 5, both of them can be inserted in a contact state. Therefore, by a simple constitution, a high quality image with high resolving power can be stably formed at a high speed. |
