PURPOSE:To obtain the title structure excellent in heat insulation property, reinforcing property, etc., by molding a specified expandable resin composition into a sheet by heating to a temperature at which the blowing agent does not decompose, sticking this sheet to the rear of a vehicle outside panel and expanding and curing it by heating. CONSTITUTION:A paste vinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer( e.g., dibutyl phthalate), a heat-decomposable blowing agent (e.g., azodicarbonamide), an epoxy resin and a heat-activatable curing agent for vinyl chloride resin (e.g., dicyandiamide) are used as essential components, and these components are mixed together so that 20-500pts.wt. epoxy resin is present per 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin. The obtained expandable resin composition is previously molded into a sheet by heating to a temperature at which the blowing agent does not decompose so that the tensile strength of the sheet may be at least 1kg/cm<2>, and this sheet is stuck to the rear of a vehicle outside panel. By expanding and curing this sheet by heating, an outside panel structure of a vehicle can be obtained.
