This device comprises a first planetary gear 24 rotationally integral with the casing 23 and a second planetary gear 31 rotationally integral with the output shaft 32. With each planetary gear 24, 31 there is associated a pair of satellite gears respectively 25, 26; 29, 30 and the satellite gears of the two pairs are connected in pairs by means of a common shaft 27, 28, the ratios of the various gears being calculated so as to provide the required speed ratio between the casing 23 and the output shaft 32. The shafts 27, 28 of the satellites respectively 25, 26; 29, 30 are rotationally mounted on a common satellite carrier 35 which is held rotationally fixed by a reaction arm acting on the end of the shaft 36 of the satellite carrier 35. Means are also provided for recovering the oil thrown out centrifugally against the internal wall of the casing 23. <IMAGE>
