The protection bracket is constituted by a blank 1 of substantially trapezoidal shape made of cardboard or similar material divided by folding lines 4, 5 into two identical triangles 2, 3 separated by a continuous strip 6 of length equal to the height of each triangle in order to constitute one of the bases of the protection bracket while the other base is made from two flaps 2a, 3a extending each triangle 2, 3 on the free side and which are superimposed one upon the other during the constitution of the bracket by locking the latter, these bases of width corresponding to the thickness of the panel in question each receiving a volume 8, 9 of appropriate material, usually slightly flexible and made of expanded plastic, these brackets, most often when they are placed on the four corners of the panel, being held by a correctly stretched and welded plastic wrapping film. <IMAGE>
