Reducing and change-speed gearing for hydrojet drives located inboard is heavy and expensive. In the hydrojet propulsion according to the invention, the reducing and change-speed gears are located in the impeller boss. This make the hydrojet propulsion less expensive, lighter, and better protected against damage from floating objects. <IMAGE>
