A system is proposed for the indirect illumination of spaces which produces a high-power illumination in conjunction with a spectral distribution resembling daylight. This is achieved by the use of commercially available broad-band daylight emitters (radiators) together with a special plaster surface of uniformly high reflectivity (reflecting power) over the entire spectrum of visible light. The plaster covering has a high fraction of titanium dioxide and acts as a reflection diffuser.
