The unit includes a sealed box with the motor elastically supported on springs inside. The motor acts on a crank shaft in order to move a piston within a cylinder to compress the gas. Lubricating oil is contained within the lower part of the casing. In order to improve lubrication of the device, a centrifugal pump generates a flow of oil within the casing. Deflectors (43') on the inside surface catch a part of this flow and direct it towards the input where refrigerant gas arrives (37) on its way into the cylinder
