This modular, all-format, square or rectangular pouch is used for packaging sheets or other flat objects and several pouches may be assembled in the form of a display unit. It is provided, on each of at least two of the sides of the square or rectangle, with at least one reinforcing strip 4, 5 which forms a hinge and which is capable of being joined in a detachable manner to a reinforcing strip of at least one other pouch. It is provided in "French" or in "Italian" style and for all possible positions and assemblies and "fancy" presentations. <IMAGE>
