The invention relates to an arrangement of two motor vehicle adjacent side doors 12, 14 comprising a front door 12 articulated close to its front edge about a substantially vertical axis and a rear door 14 articulated close to its rear edge about a substantially vertical axis. According to the invention, at least one of the two doors is articulated by means of at least one hinge 26 with two substantially parallel hinge pins 28, 32, and is equipped with a device 40 for partial longitudinal guiding of the opposite edge of this door which is adjacent to the other door so as to allow, in a first opening phase, it to move parallel to the longitudinal direction L of the vehicle in the direction corresponding to moving it away from the other door, associated with a transverse outwards movement of its articulated edge. <IMAGE>
