The manufacturing method for variable resistor which adjusts the stereo balance comprises a first process for forming a first horseshoe shaped resistor having a first and a second terminal at the end part, a second proces for forming a second horseshoe shaped resistor inside of the first resistor, a third process for connecting one terminal of the second resistor and the first terminal through a conducting pattern, a fourth process for forming an insulating layer on the conducting pattern, and a fifth process for connecting other terminal of the second resistor and a third terminal depositing between the first and the second terminal.
