<p>Apparatus (20) for automatically dispensing documents such as newspapers, journals or the like stacked on a platform (7), comprising grasping means (39) seizing the upper face of the upper document in the pile (56) of documents, in order to remove it in the direction of a collection station (6a) by sliding it over the following lower document. This apparatus comprises guide means (21) extending vertically, support means (22) extending over the pile of documents and mounted on the vertical guide means (21) so as to be movable in the vertical direction parallel to them, and drive means (29) mounted on the support means (22) and adapted for horizontally displacing the grasping means (39) from a rear position to a front position with a view to removing the abovementioned upper document, and, conversely, for bringing these grasping means into a rear waiting position on the following document of the pile of documents. <IMAGE></p> |
