An electrostatographic printing machine comprises a main frame (10) and at least one unit (11) insertable into and removable from said main frame for cooperative association therewith in producing prints. Two electrical contact elements (67,72), one on each of said main frame and said removable unit, engage one another to form an electrical connection to conduct electric current between the main frame (10) and the removable unit (11). One of the contact elements (67) comprises a plurality of resiliently flexible conductive fibers (69) arranged in a brush-like configuration and the second element (72) comprises a substantially continuous conductive surface for electrical contact with said brush.
