A method for preparing expression modules which increase the expression and production of a useful polypeptide, the method comprising combining under linking conditions a sequence which comprises a first DNA sequence, G1, which codes for a useful polypeptide, with a sequence comprising a promoter sequence P, either sequence G1 or sequence P containing a MET codon for a methionine initiator and a Shine-Dalgarno sequence.
