Carbon black coating process - esp. for release agent film prodn. on casting moulds
摘要
In the carbon black coating of surfaces using a burner operating with a carbonaceous fuel gas and air and/or oxygen, the novelty is that the fuel gas emerges from one or more outlet channels (4) and is ignited by one or more flames (8) burning at the front of the outlet channel(s). Pref. the fuel gas is acetylene and the ignition flame is produced using a mixt. of natural gas and oxygen and/or air. USE/ADVANTAGE - e The process is useful for forming solid lubricant films, esp. as release agent films for metal or glass casting moulds. It employs a simple burner with reduced ignition flame gas consumption.
