摘要 The trailer (2) of an articulated road vehicle has a front axle proof-mounted and can be moved by the action of the towing vehicle (3) to be positioned along a guide path. The path is in the form of a wire (1) carrying a.c. signals that provide inductive capacity to sensors (6). The on-board microprocessor system agnerates sum and difference val-ues from the signals to detemine the angular position (X,alpha) . Other angular sensors for provided for the couplicty (15), the axle (16) and for the steering wheel. The processor outputs a command to adjust the steering wheel casing a servo motor to acheive the correct path. The sensors (6) can be ferrile antennae symmetrically arranged w.r.t. length axis Pref., they are connect-ed to preamplifier, hand filters and recifiers.
