<p>A bactericidal composition for food comprising a chlorinated bactericide and an alkali metal salt of an organic acid, and a bactericidal treatment of food comprising treating food with a chlorinated bactericide and bringing the food thus treated into contact with an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt of an organic acid. The chlorinous odor of the chlorinated bactericide is removed by the treatment with the metal salt.</p> |
