PURPOSE:To accurately copy an image on a desired position on a paper by measuring a time till an optical system reaches a scanning starting position from a stopping position and supplying a recording medium at a supplying timing based on the measured time when a following driving is controlled. CONSTITUTION:A control signal is given to a motor driver 33 by a CPU 30, and the optical system is moved from a home position by an optical motor 34 constituted of a servo motor, the time till the optical system reaches the scanning starting position is measured by the CPU 30 based on the switching signal of a home position switch 131 and a starting position switch 132, and the data is stored in a RAM 32. And an optimum timing for driving a resist roller 23 is calculated based on the data stored in the RAM 32 and the data about a copying magnification, etc., inputted by an operating part 35, and the paper feeding timing by the resist roller 23 is controlled by the CPU 30. Thus, the paper feeding timing can be accurately controlled, and the original image can be copied on the desired position on the paper. |
