PURPOSE:To prevent the peeling off or breakage of a thin film by sintering slurry comprising fine powder containing stabilized zirconia and metallic zirconium or zirconium hydride. CONSTITUTION:Slurry is applied to the surface of an air electrode or a fuel electrode, then they are sintered. Metallic zirconium 4 or zirconium hydride 4 in the slurry is oxidized into zirconium oxide by sitering, and its volume is increased 50-60%. Even if stabilized zirconia powder 3 shrinks in sintering, the shrinkage of the stabilized zirconia thin film serving as the thin film of a solid electrolyte is eased and the thin film is densified. |
