Teat with adjustable flow rate which can be fitted in a sealed manner on the neck of a feeding bottle intended for feeding babies, which comprises an air inlet at the level of the reservoir. Made of natural rubber or an elastomer, it comprises a slot (1) made without removal of material in a conical zone of the nipple. This slot (1), which is closed in the rest position, opens at each of its ends onto two inverted conical recesses (3-4 and 3'-4'), the opposite apices of which are not contiguous. Two converging pyramidal recesses (5-5') are connected to the inner conical recesses (4-4') of the teat. <IMAGE>
