<p>A method and apparatus for forming fluff pads and the like wherein fluff providing material webs (w12,w13,w14) are introduced into separate hammermills (12,13,14) and then delivered via a plurality of ducts (33,34,35) to a moving screen (30) under vacuum and wherein the ducts are characterized by reverse bends to densify the particle stream at the outside of the curvature (33G) for generally perpendicular deposition on the screen. <IMAGE></p> |
