The sign is constructed from a stamped metal sheet by means of shaping of two opposite edges into individual prismatic bodies, with the aid of a folding machine. The profile of these bodies may have any design and is intended as a guide for retention of the sheet of transparent material or front of the sign. The main surface of the metal sheet is used as support for the advertising message, which is visible by means of transparency. The prismatic bodies may include lights. The improvements avoid the use of profiles obtained by moulding and do not require the front necessarily to carry the message. <IMAGE>
