The hydraulic pressure generator comprises a body (10) in which is formed a principal bore (12). A piston assembly (14) is slidably mounted in the bore (12) and defines, with the bore, a working chamber (26) connectable with a hydraulic actuator. The piston assembly is selectively slidable in the principal broe (12) by an input rod (20). The piston rod further comprises a resiliently deformable member (54,58) destined to deform when the pressure in the working chamber reaches a predetermined value. The piston assembly comprises a bore (46) open to the working chamber, and the deformable member comprises a damper piston (54) slidably mounted in the bore and urged towards a rest position by belleville washers.
