The invention consists in putting specific equipment to a new use. his procedure makes it possible quickly to reheat cooked meals presented in metallic boxes. The equipment claimed is small electric ovens called "toasted sandwich makers" and the like. Reheating takes from 5 to 8 minutes approximately. The prior art recommended by the makers of cooked meals for cardboard-packaged metallic boxes is either to place them in a pan of boiling water or in the oven: nearly all households have the means for this, but it takes some 20 to 30 minutes, which is quite long; or to use a microwave oven: this is a quick method requiring some 4 to 7 minutes, but the appliance is still relatively uncommon owing to its cost. |
